Offered in this lot is the Yankee Stadium pitching rubber used when Mariano Rivera recorded the 424th and 425th saves of his Hall of Fame career. This home plate was used June 29th through July 8th of 2007, with Rivera earning his first save in this homestand in a 2-1 win over the Oakland Athletics on June 29th. Rivera pitched a perfect inning-and-a-third with three strikeouts to earn his 424th save. On July 5th, Rivera recorded save number 425 of 652 in a 7-6 win over the Minnesota Twins after striking out two in the ninth. Rivera has signed this rubber in black marker, inscribing “Save #424, 425” in addition to his signature. This pitching rubber comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (BB476254) and a Yankees-Steiner LOA (24272).
