The second phase of Michael Jordan's career saw the Bulls superstar continue to dominate the NBA. 1997-1998 was Jordan's last season with the Bulls and he made it count: an average of 28.7 points per game, NBA All-Star First Team honors and the last of his five NBA MVP Awards were among his many achievements that season. In addition, Jordan led the Bulls to another NBA Championship, where his 2-point jump shot with 5 seconds left struck a dagger into the heart of the Utah Jazz. It was the second run of three consecutive championships by the Bulls and Michael Jordan's crowning moment.

This timeless home white Chicago Bulls uniform (jersey and shorts) was worn by the greatest basketball player of all-time during that last, triumphant season. The white mesh jersey features “BULLS” sewn across the chest in red-on-black tackle twill. Jordan’s iconic number “23” is sewn on the front and back of the jersey in red-on-black tackle twill. “JORDAN” is sewn across the back shoulders in red-on-black tackle twill. An NBA logo patch is sewn on the upper left chest of the jersey. Red, black, and white bands ring the sleeve openings and the collar. A Nike size 48 tag, flanked by “NBA AUTHENTICS” and “Chicago Bulls” logo tags are sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. The Nike tag has a “LENGTH +4” flag attached. Sewn on the interior is a white Nike tag with “1997-98” printed in black. Jordan has signed his name diagonally on the “2” on the front in bold black marker.

The matching white mesh shorts have red and black accents. Bulls logo patches are sewn on each leg on the red diamond area that has black and white borders, with an NBA logo patch sewn on the right front leg. A Nike size 42 tag is sewn on the inside of the waistband with Jordan’s number “23” handwritten in black marker. An “INSEAM +2”, washing instructions and “1997-98” flags are attached to the Nike tag, which has the “NBA AUTHENTICS” tag on the left and “Chicago Bulls” logo tag on the right. The waist and leg ends have red/black/white/black/red striping. Both the jersey and shorts come with a LOA from the Chicago Bulls, authenticating that Michael Jordan wore this uniform during the 1997-98 season. We have spoken to the original recipient who's name appears on the Bulls LOA and has confirmed that he received jerseys and shorts from the Bulls during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He has also confirmed the Bulls letter with the uniform is accurate and is as he had received it direct from an executive from the Bulls. Additionally, there is a LOA from MEARS for the game use, who have graded this jersey its highest grade of A10 and a LOA from Beckett Authentication (A31285) for Jordan’s signature on the jersey.
