After dominating the Negro Leagues for over 20 years, Satchel Paige became the oldest rookie to make his debut in the Majors at age 42 in 1948, helping the Cleveland Indians to a World Series championship. Known for his on field antics and incredible one-liners, Paige was one of baseball's all-time personalities. Joe DiMaggio once said that Paige was the best pitcher that he ever faced during his Hall of Fame career. This 8x10 color photograph features Satchel in an Atlanta Braves uniform. Paige signed the photo boldly in blue sharpie and the photo comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA. One of the nicest signatures on a photo that you will ever see from Paige.
