Walt “Clyde” Frazier spent 10 productive years with the New York Knicks, allowing official Madison Square Garden photographer George Kalinsky to capture plenty of images of the Hall of Famer. Frazier averaged 18.9 points per game in his career and was a two-time NBA champion (1970, 1973).
This rare, limited edition image (roughly 19x13 inches) of Frazier by Kalinsky captures the Knicks star off the court dressed in a fancy hat, long button-up coat, slacks and dress shoes. The biggest eye-catcher of the photo, which is housed in a 27x20-inch black frame, is of Frazier’s belt, which reads “CLYDE” in all capital letters. Frazier’s signature, centered underneath the photo, reads ‘Walt “Clyde” Frazier’ in black ink, is individually numbered and features Kalinsky’s signature on the bottom right corner of the photo.
