Presented here are two seats from Yankee Stadium. Opened in 1923, the Yankees won their first World Series in the Stadium’s inaugural season. The home of the Yankees until the 2009 season, Yankee Stadium is revered worldwide as one of the true homes of baseball. These two seats are light blue and made of metal and wood. The numbers “1” and “2” are painted in black on the top of the two seats. These two seats measure approximately 34 ½ inches long, are 29 inches tall and are 12 inches deep. These seats display tremendous wear with chipped paint and rust marks on the metal. These seats come directly from the personal collection of the late Gene “Stick” Michael and a LOA from the Michael family will accompany these seats.
