As the 2019 season is drawing to a close, it appears that Mike Trout may add another MVP Award to the two others he has on his mantle back home in New Jersey. Trout finished the season with 45 home runs and 104 RBI in 134 games. When Trout’s season ended early September, he was leading the American League in home runs.
Offered here is Trout’s 2019 Old Hickory MT27* model bat that has been matched to the August 17th game where he collected one of his season total 137 hits. Trout also added 2 RBI as the Angels defeated the visiting Chicago White Sox 6-5 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
This bat displays excellent game use. The barrel displays many ball marks that include stitch impressions, leather ball scuffs and ink transfers. The upper handle has a heavy coat of pine tar and the lower handle has a fluorescent green LizardSkins adhesive tape to enhance the grip. Trout has signed the barrel in bold silver marker adding “19 GU.” This bat comes with LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18431) for the game use and August 17, 2019 match and has been graded a perfect GU 10. Additionally, this bat comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (4102) for the game use and signature.
