Given its large dimensions and vulnerable cardboard medium, it's a wonder that any part of this popular creation has survived at all—let alone in a reasonably favorable state of preservation. The highly displayable "Big Six" lid-top panel (with Directions printed on the back) and the decorative game-playing surface are presented. "Matty's" likeness, on a surface that stands a full 16"-tall, is little affected by the typical surrounding wear and staining. What's more, the game-board spinner remains smoothly operational. This "Big Six" example clearly saw its share of active play, with surface pinhole impressions at all of the natural locations (dugouts, player positions and bases). However, the print remains bright and largely unfaded, and both the lid panel and the game board are quite sturdy.
