St. Louis Cardinals’ all-star catcher and Future Hall of Famer Yadier Molina used this Marucci AP5P-LDM Custom Cut bat on September 17, 2018 to hit career Home Run #144 and on September 25, 2018 to hit career Home Run #146. Molina would finish the season with a .261 average and the 20 home runs, along with 74 RBI. Molina was selected to his ninth All-Star Game in 2018.

This bat has been photo matched to both the Sept 17th and Sept 25th at-bats, in which he hit 2 home runs, by Sports Investors Authentication. The bat displays outstanding game use with a crack on the handle. This occurred during the bottom of the sixth inning of the September 25th game, two innings after Molina connected on his home run #20 (146th of his career) of the season while using this bat. Molina’s home run came off of Milwaukee pitcher Gio Gonzalez. There are ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. There is a light coating of pine tar on the upper handle and Molina’s number “4” is stamped on the knob in black. Also stamped on the knob is the bat’s manufacture date “06/14/18”.
