The New England Patriots took a flyer in the 2000 NFL Draft when they selected Michigan quarterback Tom Brady in the sixth round. All Tom Brady did for the Patriots franchise was lead them to six Super Bowl titles and a plethora of AFC East crowns. Brady replaced incumbent quarterback Drew Bledsoe in the second game of the 2001 season when Bledsoe was injured late in the 4th quarter of the Week 2 home loss to the New York Jets. Brady made his first start with New England on September 30, 2001, a lopsided 44-13 home win against the Indianapolis Colts where Brady was an efficient 13 for 23 for 168 yards. Brady would lead the Patriots to an 11-3 record in the final 14 games then defeating the Oakland Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers and St. Louis Rams to capture Super Bowl XXXVI – the first title for New England. This offered ticket is from Brady’s first start as a Patriot and has been signed in silver marker across the front. Brady inscribed under his signature “My 1ST START WIN!”. This ticket has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA (45265319).
