There has only been one perfect game thrown in the playoffs and that was when Don Larsen shut down the Brooklyn Dodgers at Yankee Stadium on October 8, 1956 in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series. His catcher was Hall of Famer Yogi Berra and both players have signed this Official American League Bobby Brown baseball in bold blue pen. Berra signed his name on the sweet spot, while Larsen signed his name on the side panel below his inscription “Yogi caught my Perfect Game vs. Brooklyn Dodgers Game 5. 1956 World Series Monday October 8, 1956 1:05 PM”. Please note that there is slight bleeding on some of the inscription and Larsen’s signature. Also handwritten by Larsen in blue pen on the panel to the right of the stamped sweet spot is “Brooklyn Dodgers AB R H Gilliam 2B 3 0 0 Reese SS 3 0 0 Snider CF 3 0 0 Robinson 3B 3 0 0 Amoros LF 3 0 0 Furillo RF 3 0 0 Campanella C 3 0 0 Maglie P 2 0 0 Mitchell PH 1 0 0”. This ball comes with a LOA from JSA.
