Giancarlo Stanton used this Sam Bat Maple 2K2 Rideau Crusher bat to hit his 25th home run of the season during the August 13th, 2016 against the Chicago White Sox at Marlins Park. The Marlins lost the game 8-7 and Stanton finished the game with 3 RBI after going 3-for-5. This bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the lower handle and has been photo matched to that game by Resolution Photomatching. There are numerous ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel.  There is also an impression of a weighted donut and a moderate coating of pine tar on the handle. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats manufactured after 2009. The bat’s length “34”, weight “LDMX 32”, date of manufacture “7 22 16”, model number “2K2” and order number “1716344” is handwritten in black ink on the top barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B1757) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5. This bat also comes with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (426158), who have photo matched this bat to the August 13, 2016 game.
