The University of Michigan Wolverines achieved a program-defining victory under first-year head coach Bo Schembechler in the 1969 edition of the Michigan-Ohio State game. Ohio State were riding a 22-game winning streak and all the momentum that came with the number one spot in the A.P. Poll, but Schembechler’s defense exerted its will on the Ohio State offense, forcing seven turnovers en route to an historic 24-12 upset. The loss cost Ohio State the national title and kickstarted a period of bad blood between the two programs known as “The Ten Year War”. Offered in this lot is a ticket to the 1969 Michigan vs. Ohio State game at Michigan Stadium on November 22nd, 1969. The full ticket has been encapsulated and graded an EX-MT 6 by PSA (45913024).
