Very few pitchers in the history of the game showed the type of complete dominance on the mound as Pedro Martinez did during the 1999 and 2000 seasons. Going a combined 41-10 with an unbelievable 1.90 ERA, the Red Sox ace won back-to-back Cy Young Awards, the 2nd and 3rd time he earned the coveted award. This game used and signed glove date from those two historic seasons. Pedro’s Rawlings Pro200-4JB-11.5 fielder’s glove shows moderate game use. The black leather glove features red laces and a fleece-lined wrist strap. The Rawlings label is sewn to the wrist strap and “R” logo label is sewn to the thumb. “Pedro Martinez” is embroidered in red along the thumb and PSA/DNA sticker number 5A48690 is affixed to the wrist strap. The ace has signed the glove just above the “R” logo in contrasting white pen (9/10). A great piece of memorabilia from two greatest seasons of a sure-bet Hall of Famer.
