Los Angeles Lakers All-Star center Anthony Davis wore this purple and black Lakers Statement Edition jersey on December 6th, 2019 against the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center. Davis led all scorers with 39 points as the Lakers improved to 20-3 on the season with a 136-113 victory over the Blazers. Davis added 9 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals for the dominant Lakers. LeBron James added 31 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds for the eventual Pacific Division champions. Davis averaged 26.1 points per game in 2019-20, adding 9.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks for the 52-19 Western Conference regular season champions. The former Kentucky Wildcat has formed the perfect big man foil for James, orchestrating the Lakers interior defense while finishing his field goal attempts at a sky-high .503 clip. In recognition of his immense talents, Davis was named to his seventh consecutive NBA All-Star team in 2020.
This offered Statement Edition jersey is purple, with white and yellow accents and black side panels. “LAKERS” and Davis’ number “3” are sewn on the chest in yellow and white tackle twill, with a second “3” applied to the back of the jersey in the same fashion. “DAVIS” is sewn across the back shoulders in yellow tackle twill below a “16-time NBA Champions” gold tag. A Nike size “54” tag with a “LENGTH +6” flag is sewn on the front left tail. “12/6” is handwritten on the tag in black marker. A Nike swoosh and a Wish advertisement are applied to the chest of the jersey. The jersey comes with a LOA from NBA/MeiGray (LALW03325) authenticating that Davis wore this jersey during the December 6, 2019 game.
