The great Albert Pujols wore this red Los Angeles Angels batting helmet on the night he cracked his 604th Major League home run. Pujols connected on number 604 on July 9th, 2017, as the Angels visited the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington. At the plate against Yu Darvish in the first inning, Pujols sent a 1-1 offering deep into the left-center stands to score the first run of Los Angeles’ eventual 3-0 win. Pujols finished the game 1-2 with a pair of walks and the home run, while JC Ramirez pitched six innings of two-hit ball to earn his eighth win of the season.
This offered batting helmet is red, with the Angels logo applied to the front. Pujols’ number “5” and a MLB logo are applied to the back of the helmet. Pujols has signed the brim of this size 7 ? helmet in black marker, inscribing “Game Used” in addition to his signature.
