Todd Helton spent his entire 17-season career with the Colorado Rockies where he was a five-time all-star and had a .316 career average. During the 2009 season, Helton used this Louisville Slugger C271 model bat when he hit for a .325 average with 15 home runs and 86 RBI. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are several ball marks, stitch impressions, white leather scuffs and cleat imprints present on the barrel. There’s a light coating of Mota Stick on the lower handle to enhance the grip. The date of manufacture “3/2/2009” and length/weight “34.5/32oz” have been stamped on the knob and Helton’s number “17 has been handwritten on the knob in silver marker. Helton has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “#17”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B19689) for the game use and has been given the highest possible grade of GU 10, plus a LOA from Beckett Authentication (A31842) for Helton’s signature.
