Under Hall of Fame coach Phil Jackson and superstar Kobe Bryant, the 2009-10 Los Angeles Lakers posted a 57-25 record, where they successfully defended their NBA title from the previous season and won the franchise's 16th championship with a seven-game victory over their arch rivals, the Boston Celtics. Bryant and the Lakers got off to a fast start against their Staples Center brethren the Los Angeles Clippers on October 29th, 2009 when Kobe poured in a game-high 33 points as the Lakers defeated the Clippers 99-92 to kick off the 2009-10 campaign.

This offered yellow home Lakers’ jersey was used by Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant during the season and home opener for the Lakers during the October 27th game. This jersey has “LAKERS” sewn on across the chest in purple and white tackle twill, with Kobe’s number “24” sewn below in white and purple tackle twill. A special “15 2009 NBA CHAMPIONS” patch is sewn on the upper right chest and the NBA logo is embroidered on the upper left chest. The Adidas tag with the NBA AUTHENTICS logo, along with “54”, “CLIMALITE”, “LENGTH+4” and “2009-2010” flags is sewn on the front left tail. The back has “BRYANT” sewn on in purple and white tackle twill and “24” sewn on in white and purple tackle twill. The side panels of the jersey are purple with white and purple border stripes. This jersey comes with a LOA from DC Sports for the game use.
