Both cards have been graded by PSA. Although the 1952 Topps set is most famous for the contents of its rare "High Number" series, two of the issue's "Low Number" cards that seem to appear on wantlists with predictable regularity are the entries of Joe Page (#48) and Johnny Sain (#49) with their respective biographies transposed onto the backs of each other's cards. As seen in this Black Back pair, Page's reverse text appeared on the back of Sain's card, and vice versa. The errors were apparently caught quite early in the production run, thus creating the scarce variations. Includes: #'s 48 Johnny Sain/Page Bio (PSA VG-EX 4) and 49 Joe Page/Sain Bio (PSA EX+ 5.5). Both cards are extremely presentable, with bright, uninterrupted color decorating the fronts as well as corners and centering that handily conform to the items' favorable grades.
