Throughout the 1950’s and 60’s, Mickey Mantle was the undisputed idol
of two generations of boys. As such, it is fitting that Number 7 has
added his classic signature to a child’s fielding glove. While
thousand’s of kids proudly played ball with a Mickey Mantle model glove
bearing his facsimile signature, this one carries the real autograph of
the Yankee great on it. The Mick has signed the outside middle finger of
this left-handed glove in black fiber-tip marker. The Franklin
children’s model glove shows good use and Mantle’s distinctive signature
stands out nicely against the light brown leather. PSA/DNA sticker
