Jim Hunter was one of the premier pitchers in the majors from the late 1960s-1970’s. He authored a perfect game in 1968, was the ace of two separate franchises (the Oakland A’s and New York Yankees), and a member of five World Series Championship teams. He passed away in 1999 after a bout with Lou Gehrig’s Disease. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1987. This off-white OAL Brown baseball has been signed “Jim Catfish Hunter” in blue ink on the sweet spot. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication, cert number X16713.
