Los Angeles Angels superstar centerfielder Mike Trout wore this road gray Angels jersey during the 2018 MLB season and has been photo matched to 8 games. Trout, a three-time American League MVP, wore this jersey during the May 6th, May 9th, June 8th, June 12th, June 30th, July 14th, July 15th and August 30th games of the 2018 season. In those eight games, Trout combined to go 10-for-31 with 3 home runs, 7 RBI, 7 runs scored and 7 walks. Trout finished the 2018 season as one of the very best players in baseball, putting up a Triple Crown slash line of .312/39/79 with 24 stolen bases and 122 walks. Trout led baseball in on-base percentage (.460) and OPS (1.088) while making his seventh straight All-Star Game and finishing second in the American League MVP race. This was Trout’s third career season with over 10 bWAR, and he was perfect in the field, recording 278 defensive chances without an error.
This offered gray road jersey is a Majestic Flex Base button-down with “ANGELS” sewn on the chest in red, navy and white tackle twill, with Trout’s number “27” sewn on in red and navy tackle twill. “TROUT” and “27” are sewn on the back of the jersey in red and navy tackle twill. An Angels “A” logo patch is sewn on the right sleeve while a circular Angels patch is sewn on the left sleeve above a red embroidered Majestic logo. The collar and sleeves are accented with a red piping and the sides and back tail of the jersey are constructed of a gray mesh fabric. A Majestic size “48” tag is screen-printed to the front left tail and an additional Majestic bar code tag is screen-printed on the center right tail that reads “2018 48C S1”. The jersey displays excellent game use with wash wear and consistent levels of thread pulls and loose threads. This jersey comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (190301F4) who have photo matched this jersey to the aforementioned eight games and an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD554949), which lists this jersey as “Team Issued” a common designation for jerseys collected after the season and not directly from the player.
