After winning back to back World Series in 1907 and 1908, the Chicago Cubs were forced to endure a 108 season World Series drought until the magical 2016 Cubs defeated the Cleveland Indians in one of the best World Series ever played. Down three games to one, the Cubs rallied again and again to force a deciding seventh game. Game 7 took place at Progressive Field in Cleveland, and began with a leadoff home run by Cubs outfielder Dexter Fowler. The tension in this game only escalated, and with the game tied at 6-6 after the ninth inning a rainstorm caused a 17 minute delay. After play resumed, the Cubs came out swinging, scoring two runs in the top of the tenth to bring the score to 8-6. Although the Indians cut the lead to one in the bottom of the inning it was not enough, as Cubs reliever Mike Montgomery forced Indians batter Michael Martinez into a game ending groundout. That last play featured a smiling Kris Bryant, who made the throw to Anthony Rizzo for the final out of the Cubs' 8–7 win over the Cleveland Indians. With that, the Cubs finally brought a championship back to Wrigleyville.

Graded Pristine 10 by BGS, with signature graded "10" by Beckett. A super-premium card, and arguably the most significant modern-day Chicago Cubs card in the hobby. Two heroes of their first World Championship in more than a century have placed bold, blue ink signatures on the obverse of this one-of-a-kind collectible. Its design also incorporates a base relic from the game. The card’s BGS condition report: Centering 10, Corners 9.5, Edges 10, Surface 10. The elite, limited-edition piece is serial-numbered "1/1." A "Topps Certified Autograph Issue" caption appears on the card's obverse; this statement attests to the signature's authenticity, and serves as the COA for the subject item. An incomparable memento of the Cubs two biggest stars during their unforgettable championship season, in blazing Pristine condition.
