Kobe Bryant wore these Nike Kobe IX Elite sneakers during a 140-106 road loss against the Dallas Mavericks on November 21st, 2014. The Lakers superstar shooting guard dropped 17 points, adding 7 assists and 5 rebounds for solid all-around statline. Bryant finished the game edging closure to surpass Michael Jordan (32,292) on the all-time scoring list.

Bryant, who played 35 games in 2014-15 before succumbing to a rotator cuff injury, led the Lakers with 22.3 points per game and made the 17th All-Star Game of his career. The Lower Merion High School product played one final season with the Lakers, capped off by a memorable 60-point outing in the last NBA game of Bryant’s Hall of Fame career.

These Nike Kobe IX Elite sneakers are black with silver Nike swooshes on each side of the shoe. The midsole is black, with a speckled silver pattern interspersed throughout. Bryant’s personal logo is applied to the textured tongue below a facsimile of his signature. These shoes are high tops, with nine red horizontal bars embroidered on the heels and “KB NINTH” above. Silver lace holders line the top of the black-laced size 14 shoes. Bryant signed his name in silver marker on the black outer ankles of each shoe and inscribed “11-21-14” below his signature on the right sneaker and “19 Points” on the left sneaker below his signature. There is a COA from Panini (PA35321) for game use and signatures and has been designated as a limited-edition 1 of 1 by Panini.
