Any rock and roll guitarist worth his salt owes a debt of gratitude to the great guitar innovator Les Paul. Perhaps the most popular guitar in the history of rock and roll the Gibson Les Paul model solid-body electric guitar was named after Paul, who was an innovator and pioneer in the creation of the solid body design. Paul was a player too and kept right on playing his regular Monday night gig at the Iridium jazz club in New York City into his final year on the planet. This warm and romantic looking 9”x 12” photo of a classic Gibson Les Paul guitar, in a 14” x 18” frame with bio nameplate, is signed by Paul in bold black Sharpie affixed with a James Spence hologram at the bottom right hand corner.
