The first SP Authentic release offered by Upper Deck, this product features Platinum Power insert cards. One of the most sought-after collectibles issued in recent years – Derek Jeter's SP Foil RC, card #279 – is present in the SP series ... and potentially within these containers. This card is rising dramatically in price, especially for those untouched examples grading PSA GEM MT 10 (one of which recently sold for $180,000). Jeter is a recent first-ballot Hall of Fame electee, and his premium SP Rookie Card has become an overwhelming favorite among collectors and investors.
