Under head coach Gary Kubiak, the Denver Broncos finished the 2015 regular season with a record of 12-4, good for first place in the AFC West Division. In the playoffs, the Broncos won close games over the Pittsburgh Steelers (by a final score of 23-16) and New England Patriots (20-18), to earn a spot in Super Bowl 50. On February 7, 2016, the Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers - a team entering the game with an overall record of 17-1 – by a score of 24-10 to claim football’s highest prize. Running backs Ronnie Hillman (863 rushing yards) and C.J. Anderson (720) shared the workload on the ground while Demaryius Thomas (105 receptions for 1,304 yards) was the team’s featured target through the air.
Presented here is a Jostens 10K gold 2015 Denver Broncos Super Bowl 50 Championship ring. The face of this beauty is one of the most stunning you will ever see, featuring images of the Broncos logo with 168 round diamonds, three marquise-cut diamonds, 15 orange sapphires and a custom corundum blue stone. There are three Lombardi Trophies in both marquise and round diamonds, and the number 50 in high-polished yellow gold. The perimeter is surrounded by a bed of 56 continuous diamonds with an additional 15 stones on both the top and bottom. “WORLD CHAMPIONS” reads in relief lettering. One shank of the ring displays an image of a diamond-filled Lombardi Trophy, along with “DENVER BRONCOS THIS ONE’S FOR PAT 2015”, in reference to longtime CEO Pat Bowlen, who had stepped down from his ownership role due to the onset of Alzheimer’s Disease. Appearing on the opposite shank is the name “GIBSON” above a string of diamonds, the NFL logo, the image of a football and “TERRY” in raised relief below. A Broncos logo, opponents and final scores of the playoff games, and the date of Super Bowl 50 all appear inside the band. A “©JOSTENS 10K” mark also appear inside this approximate size 10 ¼ ring which weighs approximately 58.76 grams. This item comes with the original black 4 x 8 x 2 ¾-inch hinged presentation box, etched with the Denver Broncos team logo and boasting “SUPER BOWL 50 CHAMPIONS”, along with a magnetic removable ring holder and two lights on the inside that light up when the box is opened. This comes with a Jostens certificate of appraisal.
