Offered is a mostly low-grade collection of more than 130 cards from the 1887 N172 Old Judge Cigarettes release to the 1950s. Topps and Bowman cards, along with a smattering of pre-war cards are contained in this lot. Hall of Famers such as Jack Chesbro, Willie Keeler, George Kell, Joe Kelley, Red Schoendienst and Enos Slaughter as well as stars such as Hal Chase and Eddie Cicotte highlight this group of shoebox cards. The collections condition reflects proportionate wear, consistent with handling over the years. Naturally, the appearance of the oldest cards expresses this to a greater degree than the newest ones. The "youngest" cards from the 1950s deliver a mostly VG to EX overall aesthetic. Trending older, the 1910s and older cards are generally PR to GD.
