A pair of complete, factory-bagged sets is presented. Here are two of the short-lived Star Company's most significant and sought-after productions, presented in a carefully well-preserved manner. Star Co. held exclusive licensing and thus owned the basketball card market during this period. These complete sets – still in their original bags as distributed by the manufacturer – have been maintained in a true "factory-fresh" state. The sets' contents include never-touched, condition-sensitive examples of early Michael Jordan cards. The Rookie Card of Michael Jordan (#117) shows through one factory-sealed bag's surface on the item's front; the star's "1984 Gold Medalist" collectible (#195) appears at the top of another bag, and his #288 ("1985 Rookie-Of-The-Year") entry shows on the bottom. The packs' contents are presumably NM to NM/MT or finer throughout.
