Presented is a Mickey Mantle signature on an Official American League baseball (Bobby Brown, President). The Hall of Fame New York Yankees centerfielder has signed his name in blue ink on the sweet spot and added the inscriptions “No. 7” and “Triple Crown 1956”. Both of those inscriptions are on the sweet spot and Mantle has added additional inscriptions, that include “B.A. .353 HR 52 RBI 130” on the south panel, which was his stat line for his historic 1956 season. Mantle played his entire Major League Baseball career (1951-1968) with the New York Yankees as a center fielder and first baseman. Mantle was one of the best players and sluggers and is regarded by many as the greatest switch hitter in baseball history. He was an All-Star for 16 seasons, playing in 16 of the 20 All-Star Games that were played. He was an American League Most Valuable Player three times and a Gold Glove winner once. Mantle appeared in 12 World Series including seven championships, and he holds World Series records for the most home runs (18), RBIs (40), extra-base hits (26), runs (42), walks (43), and total bases (123). This ball has been authenticated and encapsulated by Beckett Grading (0009480509), who have graded Mantle’s signature and the ball a NM-MT 8. Please note that Beckett's encapsulation refers to this ball being authenticated by JSA (Z21106). There is no JSA LOA with this baseball, but the JSA number listed in Beckett's encapsulation appears on JSA's website.

Mickey Mantle Signed Multi-Inscribed OAL Brown Baseball With "Triple Crown 1956, No. 7, BA .353, HR 52, RBI 130" Inscriptions (Beckett NM-MT 8 & JSA)
