Offered is a lot of three 2010-2011 Bryce Harper signed and framed Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper pages chronicling his pre-Major League Baseball career as a student-athlete at the College of Southern Nevada, a junior college near Las Vegas. The first item in this lot is Bryce Harper signature in bold silver marker across a close-up photo of the future Washington Nationals rightfielder playing in the Junior College World Series, on the front page of the sports section of the June 7, 2010 Review-Journal issue, the day of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft.  Under the headline “Harper’s ferry to sail today” across the center of the broadsheet page is a closeup image of Harper’s eyes with eye black, wearing a catcher’s mask. The 10 x 21-inch (visible) signed newspaper page is mounted in a navy-blue matte with red and white accents and displayed in a 17 x 28-inch black plastic with clear plastic frame. This item comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (R78019) and a STICKER ONLY from JSA (JJ15418). The second item in this lot is a Bryce Harper signature and inscription in silver marker on the front “Sports” page of the June 2, 2010 issue of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Harper has signed his name in the upper left of the photo of him in a College of Southern Nevada uniform, and inscribed “Luke 1:37” below his signature. The headline on the 10 x 21-inch (visible) newspaper page reads “Harper drives Coyotes’ rally” with the sub-head “Freshman hits two home runs to fuel victory”. The Harper-signed page is mounted in a navy-blue matte with red and white accents and displayed in an 18 x 28-inch black plastic with clear plastic frame. This item comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (R78018) and a STICKER ONLY from JSA (JJ15417).  The third item in this lot is a Bryce Harper signature and inscription in blue marker on the front page of the January 29, 2011 sports section of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Harper signed his name across the center of a photo of the former College of Southern Nevada star at the retirement ceremony of his number “34” Coyotes jersey days prior to his travel to his first Major League Baseball spring training with the Washington Nationals. Harper has inscribed “Luke 1:37” below his signature, which is below the headline “Harper puts up final untouchable number for CSN”. The sub-headline reads “No. 1 draft pick, 18, has No. 34 retired, sets sights on wowing Nationals”. The Harper signed and inscribed 10 x 21-inch (visible) newspaper page is mounted in a navy-blue matte with red and white accents and displayed in a 17 x 28-inch black plastic and clear plastic frame.
