For the first and to-date only time in franchise history, the Tampa Bay Lightning captured the Stanley Cup in 2003-04. In that championship season, Tortorella won the Jack Adams Award, Brad Richards netted the Conn Smythe Trophy, and Martin St. Louis skated off with the Hart Memorial Trophy and the Lester B. Pearson Award. Even GM Jay Feaster was recognized by the Sporting News as NHL Executive of the Year. Then of course there were the strong performances by Vincent Lecavalier, Fredrik Modin and Nikolai Khabibulin. Offered herer is a 13-inch tall replica Stanley Cup trophy made by the Danbury Mint. The bottom five rings list all of the Stanley Cup Champions by decade (starting with the 1940’s) with the upper part of the trophy having smaller print and listing all of the Stanley Cup winners. A silver-plated tag is on the front base that reads “Tampa Bay Lightning 2004 Stanley Cup Champions”. This trophy is in good condition.
