Presented is a New York Islanders Hall of Famers multi-signed photograph of the franchise’s Stanley Cup banners with four signatures in a framed display. The signatures, all in silver marker over the top of the four white banners in the photo, include (from left to right) Clark Gillies, Denis Potvin, Mike Bossy and Bryan Trottier. The banners, captured in color hanging from the rafters of the Islanders’ longtime home, the Nassau Coliseum, celebrate the franchises’ four Stanley Cup Champions, from left to right 1982-83, 1981-82, 1980-81 and 1979-80. The Islanders’ 19 consecutive playoff series victories between 1980 and 1984 is a feat that remains unparalleled in the history of professional sports. They are the last team in any major professional North American sport to win four consecutive championships.
