Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Among a total of just over 3,100 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting, only fifteen copies have attained a higher, unqualified grading assessment. This superior 1952 Bowman Mantle displays rich, bold colors. Both of its lateral edges present attractive and fresh rough cuts, an aspect that subtly enhances the piece's fundamentally uncirculated overall appearance. All four corners appear pinpoint-sharp with almost no traces of wear, and the card is nicely centered. The visual effect of this collectible is simply splendid, an impression that's an enduring tribute to '52 Bowman's delicately crafted, lovingly painted cardfronts. This is an exceptional incarnation of Bowman's second-year Mickey Mantle offering, in very satisfying Near Mint to Mint condition.
