Former New York Yankee Bobby Murcer was presented with these two awards. The first award is a 12 x 15-inch wood plaque given to Murcer b y WABCTALKRADIO77. The plaque has a raised scroll with a gold-colored plate that reads “WABCTALKRADIO77 SALUTES BOBBY MURCER A GREAT NEW YORK YANKEE ON BOBBY MURCER DAY AUGUST 7, 1983 AT YANKEE STADIUM” and the interlocking “NY” below. This award is in good condition. The second award is an 8 x 10-inch wood plaque and was given out by the Major League Baseball Players Alumni and presented to Murcer as a “LIFETIME MEMBER”. “LIFETIME MEMBER” is printed in gold at the top on a black background with “MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYERS ALUMNI” printed in the middle. “BOBBY MURCER 11-20-90” is printed in gold on a black background and printed below in black is “HAS BEEN CONFERRED MEMBERSHIP IN THE MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYERS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WITH ALL RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES ATTENDANT THERETO. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ASSOCIATION TOOK THIS ACTION BY UNANIMOUS RESOLUTION.” The plaque is in good condition.
