Presented is a Joe Namath signature on a limited-edition Salvino statue of the Hall of Fame New York Jets quarterback in a white Jets helmet and uniform throwing a pass. Namath has signed his name in blue pen on the 1 x 3¼-inch white card mounted in the 1 x 4½ x 7-inch brown plastic base. The 5 ½ x 9-inch figure of Namath is wearing all white (shoes, socks, pants, jersey and helmet) with his number “12” in green on the front and back of the jersey, his last name in green across the back of his jersey, and green stripes on his sleeves, shoulders, pant legs and socks. The helmet has a light green “NY Jets” logo on each side, a green stripe down the center, and a silver facemask. Namath is holding a football in his right hand, poised to throw with his left hand outstretched. Namath was an American Football League icon and played for that league's New York Jets for most of his professional football career.  He played for three division champions (the 1968 and 1969 AFL East Champion Jets and the 1977 NFC West Champion Los Angeles Rams), earned one league championship (1968 AFL Championship), and one Super Bowl victory (Super Bowl III). Namath is known for boldly guaranteeing a Jets' victory over Don Shula's National Football League Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III (1969), then making good on his prediction with a 16–7 upset (the win remains the Jets' only Super Bowl appearance). The underside of the figure’s base features a gold label with black type and inscription, indicating that this is number 1,310 of 2,500 issued by Salvino in 1997.
