Broadway Joe Namath will forever be remembered as predicting his underdog Jets would beat the favored Colts in Super Bowl III and making the Jets the first AFL team to win a Super Bowl. Joe was the first modern superstar of the NFL, with his TV commercials and Hollywood persona. The LOA from Grey Flannel describes this jersey as circa 1974 and authentic. On the left front tail is the "Champion" label with the size "L." On the back of the jersey is the name "Namath" in white letters. The player number "12" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey. The numbers on the front and back are white and the numbers on the sleeve are green.
