Offered here is a genuinely fascinating 36-inch brown Louisville Slugger 40 B.R. store model Babe Ruth bat.  The bat has George “Babe” Ruth engraved into the barrel below the trademark and the end of the barrel appears to have evidence of ash and burn marks.  The barrel has also been worn down, however the knob end is in remarkable condition.  Store model bats were produced by these companies to allow young children and sandlot players to use similar bats as their heroes. The bigger the star, the more desirable is the bat.
