Offered is an exceptionally cool piece, a 10-figurine display showcasing the 1927 World Champion New York Yankees produced by the Danbury Mint. Standing side by side on a 28-inch long wooden display are Miller Huggins, Earle Combs, Mark Koenig, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Bob Meusel, Tony Lazzeri, Joe Dugan, Pat Collins and Herb Pennock. Each figurine stands 6-to-7 inches tall and wear historically accurate uniforms. The names and positions of the players and manager are printed in gold by their feet. “The 1927 New York Yankees” is engraved on a gold-colored plate on the front center of the base.
