Offered is an exceptionally cool piece, a 10-figurine display showcasing the 1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers produced by the Danbury Mint. Standing side by side on a 28-inch long wooden display are Jim Gilliam, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella, Carl Furillo, Gil Hodges, Jackie Robinson, Sandy Amaros, Don Newcombe and Walter Alston. Each figurine stands 6-to-7 inches tall and wear historically accurate uniforms. The names and positions of the players and manager are printed in gold by their feet. “The 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers” is engraved on a gold-colored plate on the front center of the base.
