Encapsulated with signature assessed "Authentic" by BGS. Hall of Famer. Triple Crown winner and two-time A.L. MVP Lou Gehrig is doubly honored in the design of this extraordinary collectible. The piece's construction includes a genuine example of Gehrig's 1934 Goudey Gum card (#61) and a cut paper segment bearing his strong, carefully rendered pencil signature. Intrinsically and visually, this is a powerful remembrance of the New York Yankees icon. The limited-issue piece was produced in an edition of just three examples. Gehrig, a 1939 Cooperstown enshrinee, passed away in 1941.
