Beginning in 1979, Tim Raines was the undisputed star north of the border. The most successful player to ever don an Expos cap won the 1986 batting crown and led the National League in steals four times, a record for switch hitters. This Cooper TR4 model bat dates from the sweet spot of Raines’ career in Montreal from 1986 to 1992. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. The knob has the bat’s length “33 ½” and weight “31 OZ” stamped and Raines has signed this bat in blue marker on the natural-colored upper handle and inscribed “The Rock”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B24793) for the game use and has been given a very high grade of GU 9.5, plus a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
