After drifting from the Texas Rangers to the San Diego Padres to the Boston Red Sox, slugger Adrian Gonzalez found a good home with the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 2013 season. The first baseman hit a three-run homer in his first at bat and finished the season with a nice .297 average. At least two of his 22 home runs from his 2013 season came while using this Trinity PS27:1 model bat. PSA/DNA has photo matched this bat two home runs hit by Gonzalez against his former team the San Diego Padres on August 30th, 2013. Gonzalez hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the 3rd inning and added a three-run blast in the bottom of the 7th.

This bat displays outstanding game use with a crack in the upper and lower handle. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers, blue ink transfers and an impression of a weight donut present on the barrel. There is a heavy coating of pine tar on the upper handle and the edge of the knob has been taped to enhance the grip. The bat’s length “34”, weight “31.5” and Gonzalez’s number “23” have been stamped on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B07458) for the game use and have photo matched this bat to the two aforementioned home runs hit on August 30th, plus an MLB Authenticated hologram (EK658936), who authenticate that this bat was broken during the September 1st , 2013 game in the bottom of the first inning.
