Offered is a Ted Williams signature on an Official American League Bobby Brown stamped baseball. The “Splendid Splinter” has signed his name on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen and inscribed “#9” to the right of his signature on the adjacent panel with the “CUSHIONED CORK CENTER” stamp. Williams played his entire 19-year Major League Baseball career as a left fielder for the Boston Red Sox from 1939 to 1960; his career was interrupted only by military service during World War II and the Korean War. Williams was a 19-time All-Star, a two-time recipient of the American League Most Valuable Player Award, a six-time AL batting champion, and a two-time Triple Crown winner. He finished his playing career with a .344 batting average, 521 home runs, and a .482 on-base percentage, the highest of all time. This ball displays toning and comes with a LOA from JSA (X02070).
