Hall of Famer Dave Winfield was in the sweet spot of his career when he was using this bat in 1987. That season the Yankees right fielder hit .275 with 27 homers. Used by Winfield during the summer of 1987, this Rawlings DW20 model bat displays outstanding game use with a crack on the barrel. There are ball marks, white leather scuffs, blue ink transfers and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact present on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip and the bat’s model number “DW20”, plus “008 7” has been stamped on the knob. Winfield has signed his name in bold silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “#31” and “7/29/89”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B24173) for the game use and has been given a high grade of GU 8.5, plus a LOA from JSA (BB74839) for Winfield’s signature and inscriptions.
