Presented is a sealed pack of 1982 TCMA Oneota Yankees baseball cards featuring John Elway on top. A nine-time Pro Bowler and two-time Super bowl Champion, Elway was an absolute powerhouse on the gridiron. However, Elway almost pursued a career in professional baseball instead of football. He was selected by the New York Yankees in the second round of the 1981 MLB draft. Though short lived, many thought that Elway’s sheer skill and athleticism could have made him a powerful threat, as Yankees owner George Steinbrenner hoped to start Elway as a right fielder by 1985. A seldom seen collectible of the Broncos legend.
