In the 1927 World Series the New York Yankees swept the Pittsburgh Pirates in four games. Offered here is a unique souvenir which is a super rare “George “Babe” Ruth” miniature bat from one of the New York games that was sold during the 1927 World Series.  There are only two known versions, the Babe Ruth Lloyd Waner models that are both similar to their regular 14-inch store model counterparts produced by Hillerich & Bradsby but the souvenirs that sold during that Fall Classic are factory marked on the backside “WORLD’S SERIES -1927-“. This Babe Ruth model has the “WORLD’S SERIES-1927-“ stamp in black on the back barrel and was sold at Yankee Stadium. The World’s Series stamp is light but still very much visible and it shows general wear throughout from age. Overall, this is a great championship memento from the famed Murderer’s Row team of 1927, featuring their biggest star.
