Cal really got to show he was All-Star material in the 1995 Mid-Summer Classic. The Orioles star started the game at shortstop and when 2 for 3 at the plate; a single off Tyler Green in the fifth and another single two innings later off Carlos Perez. The Louisville Slugger P72 model bat shows great game use. The barrel displays many ball marks with white leather ball scuffs and ink transfers. There are bat rack streaks present and both ends show scuffing and dings from contact with the ground. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and a ring of white adhesive tape has been inscribed with, “1995 All Star Game.” A large Cal Ripken, Jr. signature on the barrel in contrasting silver marker adds to the collectability of this All-Star gamer. This bat comes with a LOA from Cal Ripken, Jr and PSA/DNA (1B19668) for the game use, with PSA/DNA grading this bat its highest grade of GU 10 and a certificate from Beckett Authentication stating they witnessed Cal Ripken, Jr. signing this item.
