A German manufacturer issued a set of sports cards plus an album, all in German on the reverse, but only two cards within the set are baseball related – one for Babe Ruth and one of a Japanese catcher. The Ruth card was also issued with several variations, two of which comprise this group. This lot contains the Type 2 card, which has the name “Sanella” at the bottom (PSA NM+ 7.5), and the Type 3 card, which has “Sanella” at the bottom, but has different type near the top with the term “Seite 83” (PSA EX-MT 6). Both cards have beautiful pastel color images of Ruth in his swinging follow through during game action. Two PSA high grade cards.
