To mark the end of the 20th century, Major League Baseball commissioned a panel to select the top 100 players of the century, two for every infield position, nine for the outfield and six pitchers. Predictably, Cal Ripken, Jr. joined Ernie Banks (and Honus Wagner, who was added later) at the shortstop position. Cal was given this classic baseball dugout jacket to commemorate his selection to this exclusive team. The black and white jacket has the MLB “All-Century Team” logo embroidered on the left chest, below which Cal Ripken, Jr. has added his signature in silver marker. The collar has the Majestic label affixed and an XXL hang tag sewn below. This jacket comes with a LOA from Cal Ripken, Jr. for the game use and signature and a certificate from Beckett Authentication stating they witnessed Cal Ripken, Jr. signing this item.
