This Official National League Leonard S. Coleman stamped baseball has been signed by Hall of Famer Hank Aaron and Al Downing. Downing was the pitcher who served up Hank Aaron’s historic 715th career home run on April 8th, 1974 that put Aaron past Babe Ruth on the all-time home run list. Aaron and Downing have signed their names on the sweet spot in blue pen. Downing inscribed “715th ON 4/8/74” on the north panel above their respective signatures in blue pen. This ball displays minor toning and comes with a LOA from JSA (BB44940) for the signatures and authenticating that Downing penned the inscriptions.
